Marianne was born in a community just outside of the modern London called Darkside. A place where those not welcome into the 'normal' communities were shipped off to. A society where revenge, hatred and a vicious way of thinking was everyday food. And somewhere in the middle of all of this, Marianne accompanied by her three similarly hued brothers were brought into the world. They were healthy and filled with boundless energy and joy.
Marianne and her brothers would remain intact for the next three coming weeks, before the tranquil enviroment suddenly shifted into the opposite. Their father, Ferio, had always during the few weeks been a man of little emotion and even on this horrific day when the siblings were taken away; Still no sign of emotions could be seen upon his facial expression. Gracelynn, the mother of the siblings, on the other hand, could be seen almost cracking from the dead mask she was wearing.
Despite being young at the time, Marianne can feel a lump in her stomach when thinking back on the event in spite of her not being able to remember it in 'plain language'.

After being taken away from their real parents, the siblings were separated from eachother and placed into fosterfamilies. They all received caring and loving, new families; if one keeps in mind that they were raised inside the vicious place of Darkside. Separated like this the siblings would live, quickly forgetting the vague and few memories of eachother and their real parents. It wasn't until they reached the state of teenager that everything was about to change once more. This was the time when they were reminded of their real parents and their existing siblings. However, the siblings were never introduced to eachother at this time instead they were simply informed of the task needed to be performed from each one of them. Without knowing the appearance of eachother, the siblings were tasked to track eachother down and eliminate until only one stood as survivor. The last one standing of them would be crowned as the next ruler of Darkside.
