He has a saddle marking across his back and shoulders which comes in the same shade of dark grey/black. His chest, underbelly, paws and tail tip are a muted dove-grey. Small dove grey markings also appear under his eyes, which are a pale teal colour.

HISTORY:
Puphood
Born into a large pack, Marv and his littermates did not have long to know their mother nor her kindness. Due to complications, she didn't stop bleeding after giving birth and quickly wasted away. Their father, a large and ill-tempered brute by the name of Nicolai, was enraged by the loss of his chosen alpha female. Overwhelemed by his grief, he began to dispatch of the five pups, deeming them unfit to carry his blood after their crimes. He had already made his way through two females when a stricken guard finally spoke up, horrified by the slaughter. Convincing the alpha that he needed an heir to carry on his legacy, and that of the true alpha female, Nicolai relented and allowed the one male to live. The remaining females were dealt with while the male was taken and given to a surrogate mother to be nursed alongside her young. Even as a pup, Marv wasn't fond of rough treatment. He would rather play softly, roughhousing without much rough. His father was Hellbent on molding the pup to be his exact copy, just as merciless and brutal as he. However, Marv was scrawny and long-limbed, easily distracted and just as easily knocked aside in fights. He grew increasingly frustrated and as his temper blazed, so did his violence. Marv became shy and awkward in the wake of his fathers critical words and harsh judgement but never did become violent. In this pack however it was not uncommon for pups to limp or have blood in their teeth and fur, they were trained young and each just as roughly handled. Most packmembers adhered the younger wolves and often took out their frustrations on them, if their mothers cared little enough. Most of his childhood is a blur of unkind words and harsh punishments but one lesson in particular that stands out is when stray wolves were found upon the territory of his father. It had been a cold winter and the three wolves were starved to the point of being disjointed. They were brought before his father and then the packs yearlings were called forward. The Alpha decreed that these were 'Trespassers' and no mercy shall be shown to them. Then, before the youngsters eyes, the three strangers were set upon and torn apart. Their heads were left at the borders of the territory as a warning.
Adolescence
As Marvs' second year approached, everything changed for him. He had found a friend in another young brute (Claudius), just about his age. The two of them stuck together, finding a kinship in their love of play and tricks. At their own risk they would tease and torment the members of their pack, playing harmless enough jokes and then fleeing before they were punished. They often tended to each others wounds and stole away to the dense forest that edged their territory, just to relax and share time together with no pressure or judging eyes. It was as Marv realised they had something more than friendship between them that his father grew suspicious. After a day of patrolling the borders, Marv returned with his group to his father in a towering rage, packmates cowering and snarling. Claudius lay at the center of the chaos, badly beaten but awake. He would not meet Marvs' eyes as Nicolai bellowed and forced the confession from both of them. Marv, still not fully understanding the situation, was proclaimed useless and unfit to share this packs land. His father came for him, still he was only gangly and lean and in shock, and threw him to the ground. He pressed wrathfully down on Marvin until something fractured and the adolescent wheezed. Somehow, even after the rest of the pack fell upon him, Marv managed to flee the lands. He curled in a cave and rode out the worst of his agonies, drinking rain water and catching any small rodent stupid enough to draw too close. After weeks, he could breath easier and finally move on.
Adulthood
After a while of wandering and scrounging off the carelessness or kindness of other predators and packs, Marv fell upon Cazatella and her pack. His time of wandering has burnt away most of his wariness of others and now he simply acts more bemused around these strange Southerners. He falls back on politeness when cautious but so far, everything is oddly peaceful. He has been allowed to play and make friends, to eat and talk with no consequences. Now he is determined to do well by this odd pack, to provide and care for them as they have done for him.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Cazatella: "She's been very kind to me, and patient! I want to make it up to her. I've never met anyone as compassionate as she is! I promise I'll be the best that I can be for your pack and I'll help you in whatever way I am able! I don't think I'll ever be able to thank her enough."Derek: "H-he's an. . .odd fellow. Very. Well, touchy. And feely. But, um, he doesn't seem to mean any harm by it. In fact, he seems really kind! W-when he isn't. . .Well, being ridiculous. I think he acts that way with everyone, though. I-it's. . .nice."Divona: "What a great pup! So fun to play with! I really hope she achieves everything she wants to, she's so determined to be a Warrior! Everyone better be nice to her when she starts training. Her curiosity should be encouraged. It makes me rather sad that I wont be much help to her when she starts growing up and training. Oh well, I'll continue to support her no matter what!"
