As long as everything goes how he imagined it and how it should be, the world is fine. But if a situation gets out of hand or is simply failing due to one or more of the group, he just gets pissed off from 0 to 100. It's nothing else with packmates or strangers. If they do anything that is not fitting for him at the exact moment, Rat will just become irritated and blunt/rude.
Over protective

Rat, as repellent as he seems, he has a very protective side to him. When a sibling or close/loved one is threatened to get hurt or be treated unfair, he will for sure, go all out on the one that's being a threat. So careful with how you treat the important ones on his side, may become edgy.
Reckless

Pull him into any tight situation or anything where a fast decision has to be made, he will always sacrifice himself before overthinking and choose an action that won't hurt anyone or solve the problem smooth. Be it sparrings or real confrontations or even only conversations.
Distrustful

Meeting other packs or even only new packmates is not difficult for him. He might just unintentionally or intentionally scare/intimidate the other. Your problem would be to gain his trust. The cliche stuff won't work at all, that's a fact.
Fast acting

Rat shows very fast reactions when it comes to either hunting, protecting his pack/his close ones or when another pack dares to invade the territory without any permission. Even if they're being friendly, it's difficult to control him when something's being a thorn in his eye. Just good luck.
'Disrespectful'

He's actually not being disrespectul towards the ones who are higher ranked than him, but it can happen, not too extreme though. He may become cocky towards them but wouldn't start a huge shitstorm. But Rat does sometimes get pretty rough with lower ranked wolves or some in his league.

Whenever there's a situation where someone is needed quickly and effectively, he can be counted on. If it's something he's not very skilled at, he will still try even if it pisses him off to the edge due to him trying to do everything so he's satisfied with it.

Rat just can't shut his mouth. Always saying what he thinks straight out might not always be needed/wanted but probably just needs to be dealt with because he does not let anyone tell him how he has to be. Even if he gets punished for it, he won't take the words back what came from his cunning tongue.

Rat does like to show off and make some unwanted remarks towards others. He doesn't always mean harm so ignoring it can be one option or showing him his place.

Pretending to be ok, pretending to not be fazed by something or simply brushing pain off with a bright, cheeky smile is what he's best at. Sadly, he just bottles his feelings up without facing them, without talking to someone about them. Always in doubt of himself, always trying to satisfy others no matter what it takes is such a bad trait. Rat often goes over his limits to achieve what he's not capable of yet.

Rat was always the kid that was expected from most. He always had to give it his best because his parents want to have a good rank, showing that they can raise their son well and strong. Due to this, they indeed got a good and high rank. The Alphess along with the Alpha also expected everything from him since his parents made it looks as if he's super talented and has a perfect nature. Though behind all those expectations was just a kid who wanted to live a carefree life without pressure but the pressure was huge and it grew as he got older. His mother and father becoming stricter and the glaring eyes of the packmates only easing when having seen the best, the perfection and would instantly turn away if being disappointed. Having to endure horrible scolding and punishments when not satisfying others had taken its great effect on the teen.
Don't show hesitation, Don't show pain, Don't show exhaustion, Suck up the tears, Be at your best, Ignore your limits.
And much more of this kind was burnt into his mind. And of course one day, he couldn't take it anymore, the pressure, the expectations. He broke, broke down. Emotions spilling from his mind. Having enough, not wanting to listen anymore, not wanting to be toyed with. Rat went straight against the ones who raised him, relatives, highest ranked- everyone. Fleeing, escaping was the only way, the only way to be free, to live himself.
Growing while straying, becoming strong aswell. Starting to become a new memeber of a different pack after so long.
But still, the childhood won't let go, the bad habits won't disappear, the self straining won't loosen.
