Iah of the many minds, host to a legion, a people.
The traveler, the embracer, the pathfinder, the defender, and the one who lives on hearts.
x Male
x Peruvian hairless dog / African wolf
x Roughly 5 years
x dissociative identity disorder
x 10 known alters
Iah - Iah is the host, the original identity, the one he was born with. This makes him the dominant one (the most active) and the unwilling creator of all the other personalities. Iah is gullible and nervous, but diligent with his duties, especially enthusiastic with his scouting responsibilities. Unfortunately, Horus has been becoming more aggressive with his identity, and has put strain on Iah's control over the others and himself.
Khonsu - Khonsu is the protector, the one who appears most often to defend against any abusive behavior toward the host body. He is aggressive and irritable, snapping and criticizing at anything that moves. Some might call him a mean spirited wolf, but he is indeed a good guardian and a very protective father figure of the rest.
Throth - Throth is a very laid back and passive wolf, though his purpose is to fight and physically defend the body. He doesn't talk much when left to his own devices in charge of the body.
Horus - Horus is a pup, a bit of a bully and a mean brute. Horus is friendly in his good moods, loving to play and learn from his elders. He hates the mention of his physical body, and is unaccustomed in the large long legged body of the adult Iah. Horus was formed in a desperate attempt of Iah's to live a childhood he never was allowed to have.
The animal - little information, rarely appears. This beast is unnamed and unintelligent, grunting and always hungry. It was formed during Iah's many years alone and without contact as a young one, an animal adapted well to survival. It doesn't speak, and doesn't understand speech in turn. It is not particularly aggressive, but must be approached like a animal capable of danger. It appears when Iah is left alone for too long.
Wadjet - Wadjet is female. She is friendly and sociable, thought timid at first. She doesn't like to acknowledge any of the others, and feels superior to them. Wadjet has convinced herself that she is the original, and will not be told otherwise. She isn't the brightest canine.
Ammit - Ammit doesn't have a purpose, and live only to harass and criticize others. She is hostile, violent, and unpredictable. It is best you do not speak or recognize her, and she will soon depart. She has raging fits, yelling and cursing at anyone unfortunate enough to anger her. Ammit is a mental copy of Iah's mother.
Neith - Neith is dead, nothing more to it. She shows up when Iah has been harassed or bullied in any way, even physically harmed to a small extent. She doesn't say anything, but occasionally makes whining sounds. She was created when Iah nearly died, and believed he should have.
Weneg - Weneg manages things, and functions as a sort of grand fatherly figure for the rest. He comes out occasionally to stop personalities from doing things that might be harmful. He also manages memories, 'deleting' some memories that might cause strife or depression and sharing current crucial memories and information among the others that need it. He s very soft spoken and kind, but prefers to remain 'indoors'.
Anubis - Anubis is always awake, most often sensed as a voice in Iah's head, harassing and mocking the other identities to the best of his ability. When physically in control of the body, he does not follow this behavior, but plots and plans in silence. He has a sleek, snake like voice and enjoys manipulating others to his will, and is viciously cunning.
_______
SWITCHING:
Switching can either be a slow or instant process, and is usually brought on by different activities. Slow switching is less common. Iah becomes delirious and
acts almost drunk, prominent parts of both personalities showing for the time of switching, Instant switching is sort of painful, and feels sharp.
