It all started with Elise cursing to everyone that was present at the birth. It was at the beginning of the Spring, when the sunlight was barely warming everyone up, and blossoms began to bloom steadily over time. That's when four lives decided to see the day's light for the first time. Healers had intented to assist, though the dame's natural instincts told her to drive everyone away. However, at her condition, it wasn't that easy to get away from her spot, hence the presence of the others was inevitable once the pups began leaking from her, first one being a tiny female, following there was a boy, then a female and at last a frail runt male. The birth lasted for longer than Elise seemed to desire, however every whelp was fortunately healthy. The first one had the luck to be named after the older dame's mother, and thus came the little rascal to be as 'Sandra'.
Chapter 2: A sharp tongue
"Who the fuck are you"? - Elise to a packmate
"F-...Fuck"- Sandra
As Elise was used to swearing rather regularly, a few insulting words would slip through her maw despite her best efforts to avoid swearing in front of her pups. Hence why it wasn't a surprise that Sandra's first word came in to the grayish dame's dismay. "Who the fuck are you"? would Elise speak through her mug towards a masculine packmate that was passing by while the matriarch was feeding her whelps. Sandra, now able to hear more clearly and desiring to mimick her brother, repeated the word which was imbued with the most emphasis, and uttered it out loud, leaving a dejected face on her mother that her efforts of censoring herself before her pups would go in vain. However, Elise did scold Sandra every time she heard of the youth uttering it, however the striped pup would find another means of expressing herself freely, and that was her mother's native tongue. Since Elise paid less attention to Sandra's words when speaking French, because no one besides her really comprehended her, the fuchsia marked pup would get away with it, and hence learn to use the French language whenever her impulsive verbal nature kicked in.

Chapter 3:"The sky I once saw"
"I'll forever protect the blue sky that I once saw"
Up to the age of 8 months, Sandra was inseperable from her mother, Elise. She inherited from her the strong french accent, sharp tongue and blatant way of thinking along with voicing her opinion without fear. Sandra loved and still loves the greyish dame the most. The young female grew up beside her mother, resting and playing beside their favourite log until she departed from the pack. One time, the mother had to carry out her tasks as a Scout, and departed the territory in order to escort the stranger out. Of course, the youth would follow suit without Elise realizing that her daughter had roamed after her, and thus Sandra would receive her first scolding, which in the end had no result to the reckless female. Elise didn't hesitate to be there for Sandra whenever she needed her, teaching her all sorts of things in life and answering to Sandra's countless questions with her own unique way. She was the one that taught her how the blue sky above them consisted of the deceased ones' souls, along with her grantparents'. Since then Sandra always linked the blue clear sky with the blue hue of her mother's eyes, always holding dear the colour of her dam's beaming and weary optics.
Some say that Sandra looks nothing like Elise and that, while she owed her personality's development to the female Scout, she inherited all of her external characteristics from her father, Comatose. However, Sandra's watchful eyes turned out from their former black hue (passed on her due to her breed), to a mixture of blue, emerald and deep purple, identical to her mother's orbs. Hence why Sandra would choose to give away any part of her appearance if it was required, except for her eyes.

Chapter 4: Best Friends
"Ren loves Tatty"- Fyren
"Tatty loves Ren too, you're my best friend" -Sandra
Sandra grew up pretty close to her brother, Fyren, who was one of the few wolves that engaged with her and taught her multiple games until the age of 4 months, when he disappeared to spend more time with their father. Fyren was the runt and the thinnest of the litter, however Sandra was always following his example when he had managed to walk first and utter his first words and sounds. With the passing of the months, Fyren, or "Ren" as Sandra called him (his name being her second word), was growing up to be a rather masculine whelp, 'causing small Sandra to aspire to grow up like him. They were often found playing with each other, bringing joy to their mother as the two bundles of fur and innocence were spending their time catching up on multiple games, mostly the ones Fyren was teaching to Sandra. Sandra was Fyren's best friend, and the other way around. Until the visit of Comatose at least, when the obscure blueish and reddish whelp was getting closer and closer to his father, slowly departing from the pack as he decided to follow his sire to his adventures into the unknown, leaving Sandra behind with Elise.

Chapter 5: Faded
"...Was it all in my fantasy? Were you only imaginary?"
At two months old, Sandra had gotten the chance to meet her father, who had returned from his travels within the lands. Elise was beaming with happiness, the same going for little Sandra, who was enthusiastic over meeting her sire. Comatose made the best impression in Sandra's eyes, not only because he had granted her with the stick she wanted to gift to a favorable medic she had met, but mainly because it was the first time Sandra had seen her mother that blissful. But the happiness didn't last for long.
Months had passed since Sandra's one and only encounter with her father, and her brother had appeared to be missing a lot of times as well, leaving Sandra behind with Elise. Comatose's image would linger in the young whelp's mind, only his reddish optics carved in her memory as her littermate's own eyes, Cyrus's, would remind her of that short-termed encounter. The bulky brute's existence started to fade more and more. Fyren was missing more and more, hence why Sandra would grasp the opportunity during one of their last encounters to question him about his new whereabouts, only to find out that the young brute was hanging out with their missing father. Sandra deemed that it was unfair that Fyren got to spend more time with their father, yet she knew that it'd be unfair if she left her mother as well.
Chapter 6: An unexpected appearance
It was one of the few times Elise had wandered away from her usual spot near the log, leaving pup Sandra playing with a worm, that a green eyed brute made his way into the territory. The young female hadn't noticed as the male had strolled down the area, until he would come face to face with her, a light boop on her nose being enough to draw a joyful smile out of the naive whelp. The male was swiftly driven away from her by two of the pack's guards, however their next encounter wasn't as far as the pup would imagine.
Next time she ran across the brute it would be a few miles away from the territory, where Laxus would confess his relationship with Sandra's mother, his name and finally his intentions. Sandra continued sneaking out of the camp multiple times to hang out with her new friend, one of the handful that didn't seem to be appalled by Elise. Sandra simply adored the way he had given reason behind her mother's sharp and relatively rude behavior around others, only confirming the pup's belief that her mother wasn't as bad as most made her out to be. The male had even prepared her for the ceremony the Moreau bloodline had been gifted with at the age of 1 year, the duo's close relationship causing Laxus to earn the official title of 'Uncle Lax' for young Sandra. Seeing the female's impatience about the long awaited ceremony, Laxus decided to gift Sandra with a purple feather, overwhelming the pup with adoration and excitement. The feather however would also be the sign that would alert the protective Elise of her daughter's new friend. Soon enough, the siblings came across each other after Laxus joined Intrepidus, and the verbal turmoil was expected. Sandra barely saw her mother and uncle interact with each other after that, however she was never forbidden from hanging out with Laxus and his new mate.
Chapter 7: Old Friend
"I can't stand the thought of being with anyone but you,
But I can still remember all the pain that you've put me through"
Soon enough, a new wolf with glowing spots on her pelt joined the pack, one that seemed to enjoy Elise's agitation and not get repulsed by it. Sandra hanget out a lot with the dame ever since, as she had finally found someone to call a friend except for her slowly disappearing brother. There was a couple of nights when the two spent their time together, the dame titled as Kiilua, chasing after fireflies and telling stories about the older dame's past. Sandra had taken a liking to the unique and kind dame, gifting her with her purple feather, which she had coloured with the grass blades in order to acquire a more greenish look, so that it would resemble Kiilua's spots and eyes. However, after receiving her ramk as a Scout, Sandra would encounter a lonesome brute, who would manipulate her into thinking that Kiilua didn't care much for her, taking advantage of the young dame's audacity and honest behavior. The fact that Kiilua was hanging around a dame named 'Auri' , who seemed to always avoid Sandra and her mother in fear to get in trouble with Elise. Hence why Sandra would start avoiding Kiilua and blame her for hanging out with the individuals that despised her beloved mother.
At the same time period, her younger littermate and former best friend, Fyren, had returned escorted by a female loner. Of course Sandra wasn't as pleased as he had expected her to be, taking that he had chosen to leave by his own free will, depriving her from her best friend only to hang out with the guy that didn't care to show any signs of life. The young brute had apologized to his sister, however a verbal apology wasn't enough for the female youth. Instead, Sandra would clarify to him that the only way they could be reconciled was if Fyren stayed there for as long as he had been missing. And so, it was about time the pups gained their ranks, all of them taking their dam's path, choosing the rank of Scoot. Sandra and Fyren trained together, however it was time for their littermate, Cyrus, to start missing out this time. The young lass wasn't as close to him as she was with Fyren, hence why she wasn't as phased as she was when the latter began wandering off. It appeared that the two siblings were close to restoring their relationship during the following 5 months, but life was far from perfect yet.
Chapter 8: First attempt to bring back happiness
Up to the age of 8 months, Sandra was inseperable from her mother, Elise. She inherited from her the strong french accent, sharp tongue and blatant way of thinking along with voicing her opinion without fear. Sandra loved and still loves the greyish dame the most. The young female grew up beside her mother, resting and playing beside their favourite log until she departed from the pack.

With her brother and uncle now residing within the same territory, Sandra had falsely presumed that whatever had been pestering her mother would come to an end. However the time clock would tick, the days would turn into weeks, and the Scout trainee would start witnessing self-destructive behaviors on her dam, whose physique appeared to be weaker than ever, consuming less and less food each day. Of course Sandra wasn't aware of that, and although she made sure to often bring killed prey to the now nealy made Omega, Elise would munch on some of the prey for the guise's sake, only to later bury the food under the soil when her daughter wasn't looking. There were quite a few times that other packmates had conflicts with Elise, however this time Sandra had to witness some of them get physical, often ending up with her mother beaten and in need of medical care. That would be the time when the 'tailess Delta', as the youth would call him, commonly known as Daren would assist her mother by attending to her wounds. The cherry marked lass had almost memorized a few herbs and their usage after them being overused on her dam, a knowledge that she had never assumed it would prove to be practical in the later stages of her life.
One morning the semi-striped Scout had decided to saunter around the borders of the territory, pondering on the last time she had seen her mother beaming, the last time her smile wasn't hiding pain, emotional or physical, when her eyes weren't as weary from the sleep deprivation. It was true, Sandra rarely witnessed Elise sleeping, and when that happened, it wasn't for too much. Sandra was concerned, first time reaching the depths of desperation. Where was her father? Sandra rarely thought of him by himself, as she could only recall one time meeting him face to face. And if it weren't for her brother, Cyrus, sharing the same eye colour with him, she doubted she could recognise her anywhere. Still, she couldn't help but wonder for how much longer would her father travel. Hadn't he seen enough? What was so special about the 'outside' world? Couldn't he comprehend that her mother needed him? /Selfish/ Sandra would think. Little did she know that his departure would have a much bigger impact on her life than her mother's current condition. Upon returning from her walk, the youth could see her mother weeping against their Alphess, this being the first time she saw what sadness and grief looked like. And she surely didn't waste any time, grasping the opportunity to spy on a male medic that was exiting the territory at the time and ultimately follow him into the unknown. Her first mission to bring back her father had begun.
Sandra ventured further out of the territory following the medic known as Reilly, the oblivious male wandering about without noticing the youth tracking him down. It was after he had managed to cross Kiwimbi's wooden bridge that he heard of a squeal erupting from behind him that he would turn around, only to face the persistent preteen making endeavors to cross the log, but obviously failing to do so. Reilly returned to Sandra's aid, easily grabbing the youth from her scruff and attempting to get to the other side, though the bark was too slippery for him not to slip. The two landed in the water, through which Reilly would swim and finally reach the land, young Sandra held firmly in his jaws. For his bad luck, Elise was also roaming out of the borders, spotting the packmate all damp, panting for breath, while her daughter was found unconscious from the water that had entered her lungs. The Omega would lash out on him before carrying her daughter back home. A few hours had passed and the youth would regain her senses, to face a worried Elise. It broke Sandra's heart to see her mother that deprived, hence why she had promised her not to flee again. A promise that was bound to be defied sooner or later.
Chapter 9: Second attempt and Mr. Nobody
The time was passing by in a rather painfully slow rhythm. Sandra was just getting older, yet it was her mother that was growing thinner and the scars that were carved on her skin had been multiplied after the several fights. In the meantime, the Scout got acquainted with the medic who had saved her from drowning despite her mother's protest and their inevitable collision. Her relationship with her uncle grew stronger, and although she conversed with multiple canines (namely a suspicious medic that refused to give away her name despite Sandra's clingy behavior, a striped warrior, a tailess Delta, an alluring loner and multiple other packmates) Sandra felt detached from her pack as a whole. She didn't have trouble expressing her feelings, despite them and her sharp tongue often giving a bad impression to her packmates. Others tolerated it, others would advise her to put a limit in her 'expressive' and sometimes offensive nature, while others merely brushed it off and chose not to interact with her a second time. She would be lying if she admitted that this wasn't getting on her nerves, her mind not comprehending why someone couldn't understand that that particular virtue of 'honesty' she possessed was not something to avoid, but something to be praised for. "Imbeciles sensibles" [=Sensitive fools] would be the most often phrase that crossed the female's mind. All that mattered was her, her mother and their own personal spot. Hence why when Elise's deprived system was showing when her bones sticked out and the collisions with other wolves increased, Sandra saw her world falling apart piece by piece. It was the swimming lessons given by her uncle Laxus that took her mind off her mother, the same lessons that decreased Sandra's phobia about getting in the water in general. And so the adolescent began pondering ways to make her mother trully blissful again. To bring back the honest smile that wasn't hiding pain and misery. And all thoughts led to one particular wolf, a certain someone that had been missing for way too long.
Indeed, Comatose was nowhere to be found by this point. Despite Sandra's efforts to plead Elise to let her wander off in order to search for him and bring back her mother's smile, the mother refused, trying in vain to persuade her daughter that there was no need for something like that. Elise had made clear her beliefs, that her mate was probably off, either travelling or settled somewhere with a new partner. Although her words might've held some truth, stubborn Sandra had to try, had to see for herself, and if her mother was right, she wouldn't hesitate using whatever physical strength she possessed to literally drag the male back. But in order to do that, she had to find him first. And that could mean only one thing; she had to defy her promise.
One fateful night, while patrolling the territory, and with her head filled with her own personal worries, Sandra encountered a nonchalant male loner. She had interacted with many rogues and loners before, so she could never guess that that particular brute would have such a huge impact on her life. Sandra would carry out the typical questions, trying to stay close to what both her mother, Cazatella and Daren had taught her in her sessions. However, this male wasn't merely roaming around randomly, he clearly seemed to know the area very well, which clicked a suspicion to the female Scout. It was after escorting him into the territory that she would witness his sober facade break in fragments, desperation displayed on his otherwise emotionless features. She would soon learn that the male's pack, which was residing nearby her territory, had vanished. She didn't question him any further, other than asking for his name, his reply "Nobody" amusing her as it resembled nothing like she had heard before. /Weirdo/ she would think. Though after Mr. Nobody declared his intentions on travelling in search of his lost family, an idea crossed the Scout's mind. They both wanted to search for something- but Sandra had no knowledge of the outside world nor the danger it could uphold. And so, the female followed the wolf at his temporary resting spot.
- "I wish to search for someone. You're a traveller, are you not"?
- "Yes".
-"Take me wit' you dzen".
- "It's not like the journey will be easy".
- "I'm not dze type dzat would insist on living upon dze charity of odzers."
Sandra would reassure the wolf that when the time came, she would definitely assist him and return him the favor. The male didn't appear to be interested, but the Scout wouldn't forget his deed. The duo would begin their journey in two moons. She had little to no time informing anyone, but she knew she needed to have someone watch for her dam while she was missing. Someone that wouldn't stop her from fleeing. The only packmate she was currently interactingwith apart from her uncle was Reilly, hence why the Scout would be soon addressing him on her mother's matter, asking him to take care of her for as long as it was needed. The male hesitated at first, but the damsel would force him to give her his word. And with that in mind, Sandra spent the two days as close to her mother as possible, almost giving away her plans. Until the fateful night arrived.
Chapter 10: "But I thought I could"
Sandra met the mysterious brute as soon as the moon was up, around the time he had suggested. The dame wished to prolong her time in her homeland, beside her mother, but no one could really assure her that staying here would help her mother or bring the source of her happiness back. Would her father be nearby? Would he be far away? How long would this journey last? Despite sharing most of her thoughts with the stranger as they travelled down the shoreline, she didn't disclose whom she was really after. The unknown male answered most of her questions about the life out of a pack, warning her that it was nothing like the comfort she used to experience within a group that was ought to look out for her. He advised her that loners were often dangerous if provoked, emphasizing the way of life without taking safety and food for granted. Of course, Sandra would dismiss it in her mind, her almighty and powerful self could easily take down a... seagull, right? The duo passed through Kiwimbi's log that helped the canines cross the land, now reaching a formation of rocks, an ascent that led directly to the Eastern mountains. Sandra had patrolled this area multiple times, observing occasionally the sporadic groups of wolves that resided around the beach- yet she had yet to actually exit this the sandy area and venture into the mountainous upper regions. However, Sandra had vowed to bring back Comatose, and nothing could stop her determined mind.
The brute now known as Dominik appeared to clamber up the boulders with ease, however, inexperienced Sandra found herself almost sliding at some rocks, taking a while to adjust her pace to his. If it wasn't for the male slowing down every now and then for her to catch up, Sandra would have most likely lost his tracks. Plenty of times, the 9 month old youth would almost skid from the momentum, though it would be due to her lean figure that she managed to maintain her balance and mobility. The two reached the top ultimately, venturing further into the mountainous area, the chill atmosphere and the fresh sporadic springs being new to the damsel. Despite the brand new sights, the place resembled nothing like the beach aura of her home, where the taste of the sea was prevalent even in the breeze. Regardless of the discouraging environment and the cold attitude she received from the traveller, Sandra refused to stop here. Instead, she just clung to every bit and piece that reminded her her mother, that being scattered logs or the sound of the water splashing. The whole experience had made Sandra forget completely about food, though soon enough she was reminded by Dominik himself, who had departed the female during the night, while she was asleep, bringing back a killed hare. Of course Sandra insisted upon sharing it, and that's how the two shared their first meal. The lass soon wanted to return the favor, after all, the whole concept of her being the 'frail' useless one in this dynamic didn't suit her one bit. The duo travelled some more across the hills for the day, pausing as soon as night had given in.

It was when the masculine had laid and rested that Sandra would start developing her 'self-taught' hunting skills, crawling away from Dominik. Needless to say that the latter was neither resting or sleeping, as he had instantly taken note of Sandra roaming away from his side, and he would merely follow her from a distance, observing her movements without intervening. Soon, the swift movements of a rodent would draw her attention, and the female would spring into action, beginning to chase after the critter in the tall grass. The rather dense vegetation would soon cause her to lose his tracks, finding herself into a large jungle-like patch of greenery. It was then that her harks perked at the sound of the foliages and shrubs before her, the youth's naive and oblivious mind being certain that it was merely the squirrel that had gotten away from her, probably trapped into the tall grass. Little did she know that the real predator wasn't her anymore. Moving quick like a shadow, a rather large sized coyote emerged from the grass where the previous sound was heard from, wasting no time before snapping its jowls around Sandra's back. The young female would merely freeze in fear and confusion, the sharp pain from her spine being the only thing she could sense at the moment. Even when a darker, muscular frame jumped into the scene and knocked the coyote down, the dame couldn't move a muscle out of pure fright. Her view would be consisting solely of the coyote and Dominik wrestling in the grass, fangs snapping in the air while grunts would pierce the atmosphere. The soil was painted red, and the dame would have sworn that the time had stopped.

The battle didn't last for long. The coyote would ultimately flee back where it came from, leaving a wounded Dominik breathing heavily before Sandra, whose senses had started crawling back to her. Sure, she had witnessed her mother getting beaten up, but she didn't know that a wolf's body consisted of so much blood until she viewed large amounts of the red liquid oozing from the male's shoulder. Sandra would surge to his aid, however the male remained silent as he hobbled back into the clear area. His body just screamed 'pain', contradicting his serious and nonchalant expression. Yet not one word escaped from his mouth, even as Sandra thanked him for fighting off the prowling canine. "I t'ought I could catch it" she'd persist, assuming that the male probably knew about the squirrel and her vain effort to prove that she could provide a meal as well. All she got was a sharp gaze, one that Sandra would never get to forget during her entire lifetime.
The two found refuge in a den, though Dominik rejected Sandra's offer in venturing out to find the herbs she had seen used on her mother multiple times. He was obviously not keen in splitting up again, due to what had happened. Sandra, notorious for always acting on instinct, awaited until the male was drawn into a painful slumber, before roaming off again, though not covering a large distance in order to cluster some poppies. After all, her mother had consumed some of these during her last quarrel as an Omega, so the lass would simply assume that they could alleviate Dominik's suffering. Thankfully, there was no predator prowling after her this time, and her return was safe. The dame could only drop the flowers on the den's floor, before drifting into sleep herself.
Chapter 11: Mr. Stubborn
Sandra would wake up to the sun's rays peeking through the den's entrance. The lass would immidiately jolt upwards, turning around in apprehension as the brute appeared to be nowhere inside the cave. Had he vanished? Was he too irritated with the trouble she had gotten him into the last night that he decided to proceed on his own? And now, how would she search for her father alone? How would she find her way back home? How-
All racing thoughts would come to an end as soon as the muscular silhouette of Dominik would be pinpointed some meters away from the cave's entrance, gazing at the lands that were extended before him. A content sigh would escape the youth as she trotted towards him, soon perching beside the brute. "I t'ought you 'ad abandoned me". She would plainly confess her worries to him, emphasizing that he wouldn't be the first wolf to do that, that a certain someone had already disappeared before so if Dominik chose to leave her, it would be nothing new to her. "I'm not like your father" the male would simply state. It wasn't his words, but rather the fact that he hadn't left her already that sparked a positive interest in Sandra's mind. A few minutes later, the male had consumed the seeds Sandra had gathered, a herb she knew it would alleviate his pain. Dominik insisted on continuing their journey, despite Sandra's pleads to stop so that he could rest some more. Filled with worry about the wound from which some blood droplets would trickle down, the two managed to cover some meters before coming across some steep edge, one that could be passed only by leaping onto the rocks and the boulders on the descent. The path clearly required the well being of its passengers, one wrong move and the one crossing could end up plummeting to their death. However, it was apparent that they had to get down there, where the rich petals of what she could recognise was Marigold were scattered around some puddle of water. The dame insisted again and again on having Dominik stay up here while she descended down to pick up the herbs, but the male was adamant that they shouldn't be seperated, as danger could be hiding literally anywhere. Additionally, his "I'm fine" responses didn't help. And that's when he would earn the new title of "Mr. Stubborn" as soon as he began hobbling down each boulder. The idea to jump on him and somehow force him to stay there had crossed the female's mind multiple times, though the intent gaze she had received the previous night was something she didn't want to see so soon coming from the male. Everyone else she got to know, the most important being her mother, used to expressed their anger, their disappointment, even their sadness and irritation verbally or physically. However this male kept the mysterious and silent aura around him, his weapon towards the youth being neither his words, his fangs or his claws... but his gaze alone.
After a bunch of Sandra's pausing in order to maintain the same pace as Dominik, the two had made it safely to the soil. In fact, the dame would accelerate so that she could reach the base earlier than the black pelted male, and create a poultice out of the Marigold petals and the water from the puddle, mixing the ingredients within a bowl shaped stone she had the luck to discover around the borders of the lake. In the end, when the brute made it down, Sandra would instruct him to stand still as she applied the poultice on his bitemark with her fore paws, inserting as much as she could thoroughly upon his skin after having his cleanse the area with the cold water. She cursed herself for being a tad grateful of her mother constantly getting into trouble with other packmates, which would usually result in her getting wounded. But if it wasn't for that, Sandra would most likely not know what to do in situations like this, nor would she possess this knowledge about the healing aspect of some plants. Despite Dominik's initial claims that he was perfectly fine, even while the blood was oozing from the injury, he had somehow accepted her offer of treating him, and even complied with her suggestion that they should wrap a foliage around his wound. That way, the poultice wouldn't fall off and be absorbed better by the cuts, and the wound was less likely to get infected.
Chapter 12: On his defence
The two continued their journey despite Sandra's protests about Dominik's injuries, proceeding into unknown for the lass yet familiar to the brute lands. Dominik would explain, teach her all kinds of essential information that she needed to be aware of when being out in the wild. And Sandra would listen, eager for the new world that opened before her eyes, but never forgetting her real goal: finding the whereabouts of her father.
Soon they would exit the mountainous region, taking the descent for the shores, where Sandra would finally get to cross paths with the sea again. It wasn't really the water, but the breeze and the sand under her paw pads along with the memory of her dear mother that couldn't make the damsel wait once Dominik announced their destination. Of course, there had to be an obstactle at their path. A flock of vultures was hanging around some left overs of a carcass, blocking their way. Sandra would watch as the other traveler ventured forward, growling firmly once one of them would motion towards him, and leaving the dame in awe. Of course she had to be that brave too. And with that thought in mind, the 10 month old youth would start walking after him, a blatant posture escorting her movements. One of the big birds that was gnawing there seemed to flap its wings aggressively towards her, drawing a grunt out of the young wolf, which would be soon interrupted by the male. /Don't provoke them those that can outnumber you/ was his advice, having Sandra trying to verify how she could handle it on her own in vain. /Don't overestimate your abilities/ his words would repeat non-stop in her mind, even though she didn't trully like them. Who was he to instruct how to behave? She knew how to handle it, right? But then the night with the coyote's attack came in mind, ceasing her thoughts. Of course, that was different, it was night, she wanted to return the favor and hunt for him too, she... right?
The view of the sea was breath-taking. The sand clods could sensed with the crannies of her claws, bringing the sentiment of nostalgia to young Sandra. "WOOO"! she would exclaim, wallowing soon into the sand and throwing piles of it as she swang her pillars around, not caring if the other would find her demeanor silly or childish. She was completely content, soon starting to converse with the non-talkative male, mostly by herself as she would confirm the area's beauty. Letting her guard down. Her gaze drifted to the water. A wooden piece appeared to be sailing at the edge of the shoreline, creating the illusion that they were moving towards them. Towards them? Sandra would comment on the peculiar event, drawing Dominik's attention, and soon finding out that the fangs of the upcoming creature was nothing made of wood. Instead, Sandra could tell that the slimy being was larger than her on a second thought, longer. She would freeze as she observed it, lashing itself towards the two, who had automatically bolted towards the side of the forest behind them. Sandra would find a hideout within a rotten piece of log, forgetting that her petite and agile body could fit in compared to the muscular one of her travelling partner. /Have to help him/. Soon she would emerge from the hideout, only to see a pair of fangs aimed at her, snapping right before grazing at her fur and soon came the sight of Dominik grasping its long tail within his mouth. Sandra acted on instinct once she saw the creature flinch, driving the talons of her one paw right into the being's one eye, clawing it out into a bloody mess. Once realizing the impact of her action, Dominik had already let go, instruncting her to flee for the woods where she would meet him, while he drew the irate being's attention. Of course she would squirm in protest, but last time she didn't follow the other's instrunctions the male had ended up with very nasty wounds. And so she ran, parallel to the forest's line and the path Dominik was taking to distract the wretched thing. Faster, faster... Last view of the creature was the dark pelted brute switching destinations out of the blue, confusing the half blind thiing and finally losing sight of it as he reunited with Sandra.
Chapter 13: Don't say goodbye
Running together deeper into the forest, the two loners would cease once encountering a lake. Source of water was a good opportunity to settle down for a while. Sandra would check on the other's bandages, eager to change them once realizing that they had almost worn off. Thankfully the verdure was thriving there, giving her the chance to replace the older wraps, grateful that the other was complying- not that she would hesitate to force them on him should he protest. The two indulged in their thirst from the pond's water, until droplets of rain began showering them. Sandra found refuge within a seperate log within which she could fit in, bearing the advantage of her lean physique. Dominik had chosen to rest under the rain, leaving the dame wondering whether he really had been trained to sleep under such harsh circumstances. /Can he really do everything/? Sandra drifted off to sleep with that thought in mind.
After the rain ceased, the lass would exit her hideout, watching the male standing awake once more, alert. She did inspect his wound, then question about food. It was then that the male offered to teach her how to fish. And so their lesson began, with Dominik teaching her about patience and waiting for the right moment to strike, while the impulsive female could do nothing but hit at the wrong times, impatient, until realizing that the only way she could return him the favor of that meal of a hare was to follow his instructions completely, without any nonsense. And so she did it. Her first catch, which she was too proud of. She offered it to her teacher, however the male insisted that she should keep her first prey to herself. Of course Sandra would agree only after persuading him to share her second catch with him no matter what. Soon enough the night would come upon them, the weather getting rather chill after the long summer, forcing the two spend their time until dusk near the same pond.
The next day found the semi striped lass gazing intently at the water, the locks above her skull had grown while her fur thickened, her whole reflection indicating the passing of a few months. Her mother would be dead worried. And she still hadn't found her father. She had no time. Desperation kicked in, and Dominik could see it like an open book. "I 'ave to return" she'd remind him, eyes pleading for him to show her the way back. And the male agreed, his expression not changing one bit, making Sandra wonder if he would really miss her. The two treaded back steadily, with the dame walking slowly and waiting for her injured partner. Soon they would come across two passages, one leading to Kiwimbi beach one another one to some place else. She chose home, with the thought of her mother awaiting for her, hoping she would be forgiven by the red maned dame.
"So this is goodbye? Because I don't want it it to be"
Chapter 14: Torn pieces, 'the lunatic' and new faces
After days of travelling, the former Scout and her travelling partner would eventually reach the dame's home. To her dismay, Sandra would come across a new face, one that was distorted from the ominous grin that was worn by the creature that looked like a wolf from a first glance. Aside from her mother's and hers beloved log, laid her dam with a young pup, and another female munching on her mother's leg. "What are you doing to my Mom"?! Sandra would scream from the top of her lungs, impulsively attacking the stranger, not knowing that her mother had given the other permission to feast on her flesh. The two battled with each other, with Dominik jumping in, only to be cut off by the skilled fighter that had managed to tear a chunk of meat from Sandra's fore leg in the meanwhile. Sandra managed to leave quite a few injuries across the hostile canine's abdomen, however her mother's pleads would finally get Dravin, as the canine was named, to let go of her daughter. The pain was excruciating, leaving no room for the adolescent to introduce her mother to Dominik and vice versa. The said male would soon abandon the place, as soon as Sandra found refuge beside her mother's embrace. Since that day, the young dame characterized that female that was apparently hating her guts as a 'lunatic', however her face was not seen around again.
As the days passed, Elise introduced to Sandra her fatherless pups, who all shared a pigment of red that Sandra found too unfamiliar to belong to her biological father. However, she didn't question her mother, who was seemingly distressed over her long term absence. "He isn't going to return, he's probably hanging around with another dame" the Omega mother would confess, shattering all of Sandra's hopes to find her sire again. Of course the youth would refuse to believe those words, as there was no proof other than the male's disappearance. However, from that point, she began convincing herself steadily that such a coward as Comatose, one that abandoned his family to run off with another mate, didn't deserve to be her father. Eventually the pack moved to a more mountainous area, leaving the beautiful and memorial sight of the sea permanently, hence losing Dominik's tracks.
At her new home, Sandra began interacting more frequently with her younger half-siblings. Each one had such a unique personality that drew Sandra to each one individually. She was enamored by Zut's adorable yet pestering questions about her love life, or 'harem' as he used to call it, and how pups were made, Aramis's 'big boy' attitude, and Charlotte's rebellious demeanor. But furthermore, she was blissful to view her mother happy again, yet this still wasn't enough. No, it was actually still very far from enough.
Of course, a teenager being responsible of supervising three pups had begun to be quite a difficult task to carry out. Could it be Aramis and Zut sneaking away and leading Sandra right into a herd of bull elks, whose thorn like horns managed to scrape her skin to the point of bleeding enough to make her run for her life? Oddly enough, the adolescent managed to appeal to them after protecting them from a stranger's presence, and sitting idle for them to 'beauty her up', by hanging three white lilies on her mane. To this date, the lilies kept Sandra strong through hardships, as they made a reminder of those pups' innocence.
It wasn't long before her younger sister began hanging out with an also young wolf, one that resembled too much the pup that had turned her back on Sandra when she was a pup herself, hence why creating a bad image in her mind for Charlotte's new friend. Little did she know that 'Iggy' was the same pup's younger brother. Nonetheless, Sandra had to defend her mother multiple times from her younger sister's snapping attitude, one that the older female got to despise after a while. "Be more respectful to our mom, if it wasn't for 'er, we wouldn't be 'ere at all" she would advise her sister frequently.
Chapter 15: The Moreau Ceremony
WIP
