Kukka... Kukka was born into Luonnen Heimo, "Nature Tribe", as the daughter to their Doctor and a Gatherer. She and her sister, Terälehti, were treasured by their parents and lived a great childhood. Kukka was named "Flower" and inherited her mother's name Makea, "Sweet", for a middle name. Her sister was named "Petal Breeze" for her more blue-green speckles. She became a Gatherer for her tribe while her sister chose to be a Hunter.
Luonnen Heimo was an ancient Finnish tribe that lived in a dense forest. For years, each pup born into the tribe swore their lives to nature and its creatures. They ate mostly fish and plants, but once every few years, they would have a big feast with the entire tribe. The best hunters would catch a deer or elk and the tribe would give their thanks to their ancestors.
Kukka was a full-blooded Heimojen Susi, "Tribal Wolf", which was a breed very common in Luonnen Heimo. They usually had bright colors in the form of speckles and were either dark grey, brown, light grey, or white. They were also born with a unique birthmark that would symbolize their past and future.
While she lived in Luonnen Heimo, Kukka had found love. She found it in Kettu, an outsider who'd been accepted into the pack and given a new name once he swore his life to nature. He was named "Fox" for his oddly bushy tail, dark red fur, and enthusiastic personality. The two were madly in love and after getting a blessing from the Spiritseeker, Kettu and Kukka were bound by the Luonnen Ancestors.
Eventually, the couple had a litter of pups. Sulka, Kuoriainen, and Kesä. Sulka and Kuoriainen were their two sons. Sulka was named "Feather Bird" and Kuorianen was named "Beetle Wing". Their only daughter, Kesä, was named "Summer Sun". Sulka and Kuori were basically copies of their mother, while little Kesä was the only one bearing her father's red coat. Kukka and Kettu were immensely proud of their children and loved them dearly.

Rixator...Rixator was born in Diis Tenebris, "Dark Gods", to the Duke and Duchess. He was their only child. His name means "Bully" while he was given his mother's maiden name "Fearless" for a middle name. He became a Royal Guard before the age of 2.
Diis Tenebris was a pack located on a mountain in a system of caves. They were a group of ruthless and violent wolves who lived by "Kill or be killed". Packs within close distance to them would receive raids from Tenebris and would have members of their pack murdered. Diis Tenebris would continue this until the pack was forced to leave or were all killed.
Rixator was raised like a soldier. He was beaten and punished until his superiors were satisfied. He lived up to his name and made it his duty to make sure everyone else feared him. He trained the younger soldier brutally, causing the deaths of a few of them. He cared only about making the perfect army. If you couldn't take it, you died.
Rixator had a mate for a brief time in his younger years. After he joined the Royal Guard, he and a Sargent named Aranea became inseparable. After having a small litter of pups of two girls, Cinis and Nimbus, Aranea fell ill and passed away. It infuriated Rixator and out of rage, he killed his own children. He wasn't the same after Aranea's death and spent a lot of time away from his pack. No one knows what he did while he was away.

The Raid that Changed Everything
On a quiet day in Luonnen Heimo, the peace they had kept for generations was shattered. Without warning, wolves came flooding into their camp. They were attacking anyone within reach. It was Diis Tenebris.
Diis Tenebris raided the peaceful tribe that neighbored their mountain home. They brutally killed all male wolves they encountered and most of the pups. The remaining whelps and she-wolves were taken captive and brought back to their camp. Kukka was one of these she-wolves.
Basically, Kukka's family was murdered by Rixator's pack. Rixator used his high rank to make Kukka his mate. He wanted to take Kiilua, Joki, and Kani when they were born but Kukka begged to keep Kiilua so he scratched her face so she would be useless and unable to get a high rank in Diis Tenebris. That is how Kiilua became partially blind. Kukka taught Kiilua everything she knew about nature, mostly bugs. They would spend days in the pack's garden and wait until dusk when the fireflies would come out so they could play in them.
Kiilua never really knew Joki because he was raised by his father and was trained to be ruthless killer just like him. Kani, however, was still close to Kiilua and Kukka although he was going through the same training as Joki. He would visit his mother and sister when he could and would often get int rouble for it. When Kiilua was about 9 months old, Rixator told Kukka that she would be moved to a different section of the pack where they needed help building dens and such. Kukka refused and was punished by Rixator and left badly wounded. That night, Kukka showed Kiilua a hole she had been digging by their den. It was under a thick fence of brambles that surrounded the slaves dens. She was hoping to escape with her children eventually, but she decided it was time for them to leave. She told Kiilua to wait on the other side of the bramble fence while she went to get Joki and Kani. Her beloved twin brother Kani had arrived quickly after their mother had left to get him. After waiting for a bit, Kiilua and Kani heard a thunder of multiple pawsteps and panicked. They ran from the bramble fence and ran and ran until they felt like their lungs were on fire.
It is likely that Kukka was killed after she tried to tell Joki to leave with Kiilua and Kani. Joki was raised to be like his father so he likely told his superiors and they went to retrieve little Kiilua and Kani. When she escaped, Kukka would have been killed for betrayal. Soon after Kiilua and Kani escaped, they became separated in a huge snow storm while traveling. She has not seen her brother since.
