Biography
Abandoned as a newborn due to being the runt of the litter, a young pup was left in the mountains to die. Fortunately a lone warrior happened to be trekking down the freezing path and spotted the half-dead puppy before he could meet with his icy fate. Grabbing the pup by his freezing scruff, the warrior returned to his camp and allowed the pup to rest in his bedding until he recovered. Thinking about what to call the pup, the warrior decided to name him, Shiro Akiyama.
Finding a pseudo mother for the abandoned pup, the warrior continued doing his duties while watching Shiro grow from afar. When Shiro reached the age of one, the warrior who had saved his life, asked the Emperor if he could train the adolescent in the way of the warrior. After much begging to the Emperor, the warrior was granted permission to train the younger wolf. Finally learning the name of his savior, Shiro soon found himself training under the warrior, who was known as, Hisoka Akiyama.
Another year passed, and Shiro had finally become a warrior in his pack. Having passed all his tests with flying colors, the young wolf believed that he was more than ready to perform his tasks; however, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Discovering the pack's misdeeds, Shiro soon found himself resenting his pack's ways. The way they brutally attacked other unsuspecting packs made the brute sick to his stomach, which caused him to confront his long time mentor, Hisoka.
Hisoka knew that this day would eventually come, and explained to Shiro that this was how things were, but to not change who he was because of it. Unable to accept his mentor's answer, Shiro continued to press Hisoka, continued to ask him if there was anything that he could do to change the pack's ways. Sighing in frustration Hisoka snapped, "If it were that easy, don't you think I would have done so myself!?" Quieting down and turning his gaze towards the frozen ground, Shiro remained silent and listless.
"This is how it will always be..." With that said, Hisoka stepped out of their shared den without so much as a glance towards the silent brute.
After their conversation, Shiro became quiet and reserved. This change did not go unnoticed by Hisoka, which prompted the older male to speak with the younger on the matter. Catching Shiro near the lake, Hisoka took a seat beside the young brute and asked him what was wrong. Shiro remained quiet for a few seconds, before answering, "Everything..." Sighing, Hisoka gently nudged Shiro with his cold nose and blinked at him. "Shiro... I... I think I can help you." Lifting his gaze towards his mentor for the first time in a week, Shiro waited to hear what the older wolf had to say. "We can escape this place, run far away where they will never find us."
Shiro stared at Hisoka with a look of disbelief. "You want us to run away, and leave the pack to do whatever the hell they want to the others?"
Hisoka's expression did not waver however, as he responded with an even tone, "Yes, that's exactly what we're going to do."
Remaining silent for a few seconds, Shiro sighed before nodding his head in agreement. As much as he hated to admit it, Hisoka was right, there was nothing they could do to stop the tyrannical Emperor and his loyal followers. "Alright... When will we leave?"
Hisoka thought for a moment before responding, "Two weeks from now, we'll leave under the cover of night."
Nodding once more, Shiro looked towards his mentor and gave a weak smile before walking off. Unbeknownst to the pair, there was a set of eyes watching and a pair of ears listening to their conversation.
When the day arrived for their escape, Hisoka sensed that something was off as they approached the territory boarder. "Shiro wait..."
Pausing for a second, Shiro gave Hisoka a strange look. "What is-" Before the brute could finish his sentence however, a deep, callous voice broke the silence with a menacing chuckle.
Jumping back in surprise, Shiro's hair stood on end as Hisoka quickly leaped in front of him and growled towards the figure. "Shou what are you doing here?" Hisoka growled, his fears being confirmed by the second as more wolves appeared from the shadows.
"Oh Hisoka, it was quite rude of you to leave without saying goodbye." The Beta stated, as if completely ignoring what Hisoka said. "Ah and little Shiro... Such a shame, abandoning your pack when you're the best warrior we've had."
Shiro remained silent as he noticed that there were at least ten pack members now out of hiding and snarling towards him and Hisoka.
Quickly glancing towards his pupil who was clearly fearing that they would soon face their deaths for their treachery, Hisoka made a split second decision. Moving with a swiftness that not even Shou knew he had, Hisoka quickly snapped his fangs shut around Shou's eye before yelling for Shiro to run.
Shiro, who remained frozen to his spot for a split second, suddenly snapped out of it and was about to run to help his long time mentor before he heard him yell. "NO SHIRO GET OUT OF HERE AND DON'T LOOK BACK!" Stopping as he watched his mentor get jumped by three other wolves who were attempting to save their beta, Shiro closed his eyes and fled in a random direction.
Hearing loud snarls and thundering foot steps behind him, Shiro didn't dare stop until he reached the edge of a mountainside. Snapping his head towards the sound of his approaching executioners, Shiro did not think for very long before he jumped off the mountainside and plummeted towards the freezing water below. The water rapids were unforgiving however, which caused Shiro to ram into a rock head first, knocking him out.
When Shiro awakened, he was on a beach in a place that he had never seen before. Slowly hauling himself to his feet, the large masculine felt his head pounding. Confused on how he arrived in the new location, Shiro attempted to remember what had happened. Sadly he was unable to recall anything, and this concerned him. Plopping down on his haunches, Shiro proceeded to rack his brain for information. After hours of sitting and thinking, Shiro was only able to come up with one thing, his name. Sighing and slowly getting to his feet, Shiro took one long look at the calm lake water, before wandering off the beach in hopes of finding a place to belong.
