* Dahlia had been on her own since the age of two; she traveled through many lands before deciding to make a permanent home in the marshes to raise her young. A pair of brothers were born in late spring - Ander and Paavo. About a year later, the female had an intimate evening with a male by the name of Aifric. Shortly thereafter, Judo was born, and his mother fell into a deep depression. It was difficult to raise three boys completely on her own, ad she barely had the energy to get up every morning anymore. This caused Judo's sibling to look after him, and to teach him how to survive. They weren't too educated themselves, but the trio got through life with one another.
Another year had already passed, and Judo was no more than one, while his brothers were two. They appeared to have already made it evident that they would be staying in the marshlands for the rest of their lives, but Judo couldn't help wondering what else was out there. He discretely began to sneak off into the woods at night to go beyond their little territory; the wilderness seemed so extraordinary to the young wold. He desired more than what he had been given.
However, once his brothers caught on to his little adventures into the forest, they were far from happy. Judo felt distance coming between himself and his siblings; they had always been with one another and only cared for him because of their respect and love for their mother. He always knew that deep down, but to clearly see the lack of connection was painful for Judo. They gave him a stern talk about why he should never leave the safety of their home, and that he would never make it out there on his own, then advised him to stop fantasizing about the world because this is where he'd always be.
This did not sit well with Judo. He felt trapped, and alone. By the time he was two years old, his adventures became more prominent and he'd sometimes not return by morning; going on walks for hours on end to see the wild around him. This only created a thicker wall between him and his family, but everything just felt so right. He would only return to their den for a meal or two since his brothers purposely never taught him how to hunt. Judo had always believed that this was their way of keeping him here since he could never make it without knowing how to catch prey.
One night, although, he decided that this was not enough for him, and his heart ached for more. Getting up as quietly as he could, he'd slowly creep away from where his mother and brothers slept. However, once he made it outside, Paavo called out to him softly from behind. Judo feared the worst; would his sibling try to stop him? "If you really know what's best for you, then go." Paavo had said, slight anger in his voice; albeit Judo did not like dissapointing his family, he knew deep down that this was for the best.
"Goodbye, Paavo." Judo nodded his head to his brother, and carried out into the forest. "Take care of mother for me."
And off he went.
