Introverted: Vanessa is clearly more on the introverted side. She values deep bonds with others and would rather be alone than in a crowd. Time for herself is high priority in her life which is why hunting has become so prominent in her life.
Trust: Mostly due to her past, Vanessa has extreme difficulties trusting others.
Loyalty: Vanessa is incredibly loyal to those she loves or respects.

~ History ~
Vanessa was born on a sunny afternoon in the middle of a hot summer. She was born a pack wolf, belonging to the Pack of the Intrepidus. Her loving parents Cazatella and Vulcan Zarjero were both there. The litter she was born into was a litter of six; there was her, Verity, Celeste, Vincenzo, Vicktor, and Cormac. All of them full of stripes. Soon she would meet her older siblings Corinth, Corinthia, and Sarai. But, who could forget Fiver. Fiver was the eldest sibling, adopted by Vulcan and when her parents became mates, Fiver became her brother.
Life was simple, peaceful, and rich. Her father was gone a lot, but her mother seemed to always be around. In her childhood, play and learning were the only things she was worried about. Her mother taught her the basics of hunting, scouting, fighting, and a little bit of the basics in medicine. It left her well-rounded and eager to face life on her own. The eagerness to be independent and the disappearance of her father lead to her departure from the pack. Living on her own was tough, but not something she could not manage. With hopes of finding her father and feeling ready to take on anything, Vanessa kept on going.
However, that hope was snatched away as Vanessa became hostage to a band of three males. Her skills were a value to the males and so they kept her against her will, using her to bring them food, treat their illnesses and wounds, and as an extra forced hand of security. Vanessa was capable of holding her own, but not against three healthy adult males. Any chance of escape she had was met with teeth and claws leaving her with the scars she has today. After so many attempts to escape and the conditioning that the males brought upon her, Vanessa soon fell in line with their every order. She was no match against all three of them, especially at such a young and inexperienced age.
Although Vanessa became part of the band, she was never at the same level of respect as the males. The abuse never stopped and she was always put in her place and often mistreated for things she did not do or insignificant mistakes. The conditioning had turned her nearly completely blind to herself, but deep down she knew this was wrong. It was most likely the memories of her childhood that kept her sane, but to this day she has no idea how she did not go off the deep end. For roughly two years the female followed their orders, living among the insanity. With the constant turmoil inside her, she pushed herself to her limits, looking for an escape. With every hunt, she pushed her luck a little more with the type of prey she hunted. With every wound she treated, she got a little more bold. With every fight she had, she kept track of what worked and what did not. With every patrol, she'd learn the behavior of prey and other canines.
After years of pushing herself, Vanessa became a beast of a wolf. An animal who one should not mess with. Unlike her benevolent and gentle personality, she snapped, planning the killing of every male. The day came, the escape Vanessa had been working so hard to get. One of the smaller males had been injured in a hunt and being the only one with medical knowledge, she was to treat him. Doing as she always did, she began to treat the male's wounds. Vanessa offered the male the usual dosage of poppy seeds which the male eagerly took. However, the male had unknowingly put himself to death as the poppy seeds were lined with yew, a highly toxic herb. Soon enough, the male began to feel worse. The two other males became worried and like always, turned on her to blame.
But, she had managed to avoid a beating by persuading one of them to fetch water while the other fetched some random herbs of little use. Waiting until they had split, Vanessa glanced at the dying wolf before chasing after the male she had sent to fetch water. Like he was told, the male was soaking moss in water, working as fast as he could. Unknowingly, that wolf was already dead and he was merely the next one in line to meet the Grim Reaper. Reaching the edge of the tree line, Vanessa watched. With his back turned Vanessa shot out, tackling the male into the water. She knew he was a weak swimmer. In a struggle, the male began drowning, Vanessa an aid in his death.
Leaving the second body in the pond, Vanessa made her way back to the original location of the first death. As expected, the last male was there. Growling, she approached the male. He had already put the pieces together. The fight for her life was on. It was like no other fight, both fighting for their life in a violent rage of emotions. However, Vanessa found herself standing over the last male's body, bloody and very injured. She had won, but at the cost of killing all three and barely making it out alive herself. Backing off the body, she turned and headed in the direction of the location of her birth pack, leaving it all behind without another look.
Fast forward and Vanessa is now a proud Hunter in the Pack of the Intrepidus. Although her father is still missing and her mother had passed away in a forest fire, Vanessa had found peace once again. She is a shelled creature with little trust in anyone but herself, but with every interaction with those in the pack, she is finding herself once again.
