Krait is a sly and slender young wolf. He had lived most of his life as a loner, and most of what he knows is a world of manipulation and deal making. In his mind, things always come at a price: life is just a matter of making others pay more. He was in another pack previously, but made few connections before the territory of it and the neighboring pack burned down. He escaped the fire and assumed most of those that he had become acquainted with were killed or otherwise functionally out of his life. He spent the next chunk of time returning to life as a loner, but as the harsh winter set in, he decided to seek out the comfort and aid of another pack. While he won’t admit it, he has missed the companionship He’ll do his best to fit in, but is still hardly used to showing respect to authority. The whole ‘pack structure’ comes off as a dangerous and confusing beast. Even more confusing is the idea of affection from others, offerings of warmth without strings or quick getaways.
He’s not a fighter, but far from peaceful. He can appear cocky at times, but avoids claw to claw battle at all costs, choosing to either talk his way out of it, run, or hide from the whole thing all together. When he does fight, it won’t be fair. Whatever it takes to preserve his own hide is what he’ll do. However, perhaps with some companionship, he might find something else to fight for. Deep down, he does care about the people who enter his life, but he tries to keep a harsh exterior, hiding from his fears of friendship and loss and how to deal with them.
