I had no choice but to move a few years back, and in the chaos and negative atmosphere of having to pack up and leave behind all I know, I thought for sure I accidentally left my artwork behind. That was my coping mechanism, that was my inspiration to keep fighting on. And upon realizing I left my art stuff behind, until I discovered the freedom to rp with my FaceBook over a year later, I was lost. And I never truly enjoyed the fun of drawing again, I tried to, but it was never the same. I felt that muse of drawing left me abandoned and forsaken, and I truly struggled without it.
Well today I had to help move stuff since I am one of the tallest of my family, and I happened upon a box with my name, and 'Art Stuff' written in cursive. My heart dropped. It's why I basically died today mid rp-session ( Sorry guys ) and why I was gone for hours afterward. I almost feel like that muse is on her way back to rescue me from my petty hatred.
I began drawing when it was late 2008. I remember searching DeviantART for picture refs and getting a feel for drawing, and I remember as far as two years later, drawing from memory. Here I'll share two drawings that I found and I was astounded with. I truly was getting a grip for drawing when I suddenly moved and lost it all. Not sure if I'll ever pick up a pencil again; but for what it's worth, here's what I had.
^ This boy I can tell, I was focused on getting a feel for the way the fur is drawn. This guy is also proof that I finally was successful in line-art, often times I'd ruin a piece by simply having my arm twitch-
^ Meanwhile, I do /not/ recall what went through my mind when I made him. I can tell you for sure I was trying way too hard to make the shading look good, and I played with muscle tone ( also too much ) but I get a vibe that he was going to be a villain-type of guy. He doesn't have a name, nor did I ever decide on his color scheme.

So yeah, that's my embarrassing attempt at art-
