He used to be quite the crimson wolf, but due to his traumatic time between LG and PI, he suffers from Marie Antoinette syndrome which made his fur lose its colour. His most defining characteristic is his eyes, almost gleaming like bright blue and amber spheres. They contrast greatly from his greyscale coat, which is highlighted with one lighter hind limb. On the lighter hind limb, scars can be seen across his ligaments from his time as a Derine prisoner. Now, his old crimson fur is starting to grow back in, starting from his left side. | |||||||||

LILIUM GROVE (Kogun): Growing up, Cainan came to Lilium Grove just after the pack split between Kogun and Derine. He had lived a long two years of a solo life, not really knowing his parents or where he was born. Mainly just a wandering soul. He had joined the pack as a hunter, or 'tracker' in this case. He met Thistle here, who was the Raider (lead hunter) at the time, and they became pretty close within a small time frame. As he climbed the tracker ranks, it wouldn't be long until he was crowned as an Elite hunter, one of the most joyful moments of his life. Here, he started becoming more connected with other pack members, especially Tymin and Abunai. Shortly after Abunai's betrayal and his sudden take-over as the Derine leader, Cainan had suffered much pain in watching a fellow hunter and friend switch over to the other side. LILIUM GROVE (Derine): As time went on, Cainan had been given news by a Kogun scout that a pack member had gone into Derine territory. Frantically rushing to pull the member out of hostile grounds, Cainan was captured on enemy grounds by the Derine pack. Here, he became a prisoner. Skilled medics would slice his hind ligaments to keep him from running if he had escaped, and a wooden stake was drilled through the tendons to bind him to the prison. However, Cainan could not remember much of what happened after that. Probably for his own sanity. THE FIRE, AND HIS ESCAPE: One day, during one of many countless, blurry weeks, he had woken to distant screaming. But- there was no one in Derine camp. Cain had caught on pretty fast what was happening; Derine was launching an attack on Kogun. This was his only time to escape the pits of hell. This was also when he had discovered himself. No longer a beautiful sea of red shades, the elite hunter was now clouded with grey- his eyes a steady, sea of blue instead of his sharp, green eyes. He had later discovered this change was stress-induced, and his fur had lost its colour. Upon getting himself loose from the prison, he was in no shape to run. At this time, his ligaments in his right leg were dismantled beyond use. Among his desperate escape, and old Sage found him lying on a muddy path, nursing him back to health. And, with the trade of teaching him the land of Lilium Grove, he was able to operate on his hind limb and repair what he could of Cainan's leg. From there on, Cainan became his apprentice for a short while until the Ol' man's death. PACK OF THE INTREPIDUS: Looking for bugs by a lonesome beach two years later, Cainan got surprised by the unimaginable. He found Thistle- or Thistle found him. None-the-less, they had met again. Though, she was not his Raider anymore, but rather, a normal ranked hunter in a new family known as Intrepidus. From there, he had joined the pack in search of both refuge and a new, safe beginning. Except, he was no longer able to continue to have his elite hunter status- for he could not run. However, because of his short apprenticeship with the Ol' Sage, he easily caught onto the medic trade. Shortly after, and with much determination, Cainan had been proudly crowned a Chief Medic, alongside his best friend Thistle, who was also crowned a Chief Hunter. Such days were filled with peace, plenty of food. Almost the perfect heaven. To the point where he had started to notice small red specks below his left eye. Indeed, his crimson fur had started to return- and, with the beautiful atmosphere of Intrepidus, his original shimmering pelt has now returned to half of his body.
