The Kinage Desert Tribe
Fiver hails from an isolated desert, untouched by any man or pack besides his own. It was named the Kinage Desert after the first tribe leader, Kinage, led his large group of wolves to this new area. Because other packs were so far and unwilling to trade supplies, the Kinage Desert Tribe overtime became infested with inbreeding. From a biological standpoint, this is essentially murder to the wolves who live there today as their genes are too similar and can cause a variety of birth defects. Fiver was fortunate enough to not get any severe ones, but he is still a fragile wolf because of this and will not live as old as others. It is quite rare for a Kinage wolf to make it past seven or eight years of age. Living in the desert also creates a lack of resources and thus the tribe has resorted to only keeping the strongest members. As you'll find in Fiver's lineage below, a significant percent of the pups born are removed within the first year of their life.
